1. Introduction and Agreement
Welcome to Take My Hand Centre (ABN 22 924 421 070) ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing our website (www.takemyhandcentre.com.au), booking consultations, or engaging our behaviour consulting and autism parent/family coaching services (the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility and Parental Responsibility
Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a legally binding contract to use our Services.
Parental/Guardian Authority: Where our Services relate to a child or participant, you confirm that you are that person's parent, legal guardian, or authorised representative, and that you have the legal authority to provide information and consent on their behalf.
3. Nature of Services and Disclaimers
Coaching vs. Clinical Services: Take My Hand Centre provides behaviour consulting and autism parent/family coaching services. We do not provide psychotherapy, counselling, mental health treatment, medical care, clinical treatment, or healthcare services of any kind.
No Guarantees: Coaching and consulting services support personal, relational, and developmental growth; however, outcomes vary significantly based on individual circumstances, participation, effort, and external factors. No guarantees or warranties are made regarding specific outcomes or results.
Client Responsibility: Clients remain fully responsible for their own decisions, actions, wellbeing, and family outcomes. Responsibility for decisions relating to a child's care, treatment, or support remains entirely with the parent, guardian, or authorised decision-maker.
Emergencies: In an emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately. Our communication channels are not monitored 24/7 and should never be relied upon for crisis intervention.
Professional Standards & Insurance: Take My Hand Centre maintains appropriate professional indemnity insurance for the delivery of our behaviour consulting and autism parent/family coaching services. However, our services remain educational and coaching-focused, and do not constitute clinical treatment or medical care.
4. Booking, Pricing, and Payment Policy
Service Structure: Services are offered on a pay-as-you-go basis. You may choose to purchase either:
Single Sessions: A one-off coaching session with no ongoing lock-ins.
4-Session Packages: A bundle of four coaching sessions.
Package Expiry Policy: Any purchased 4-session package must be used within 60 days from the date of purchase. Sessions not used within this 60-day window will expire and are non-refundable.
Payment Terms: Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. Prices will be available at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Attendance Policy
Notice Period: We kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session.
Missed Sessions: Late cancellations or missed sessions without adequate notice may be subject to session forfeiture or fees at our discretion, as appointment times are specially reserved for your family.
Practitioner Cancellations: If Take My Hand Centre must cancel or reschedule a session, reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule your appointment promptly.
6. Communication Consent
By utilising our Services, you consent to communication through email, phone calls, text messaging, video conferencing platforms, and other electronic methods reasonably necessary for scheduling, coaching, and business operations. You acknowledge the inherent risks associated with electronic communications and virtual services.
7. Technology and Third-Party Platforms
We may utilise technology platforms, scheduling tools, video conferencing software, and third-party service providers (such as Splose) to operate our business. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, Take My Hand Centre is not responsible for interruptions, outages, security failures, or technical issues arising from third-party systems outside our reasonable control.
8. Intellectual Property
All website content, coaching frameworks, materials, logos, and branding associated with Take My Hand Centre are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute our materials for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales for handling any disputes.
